A spectacular and memorable Grand Reunion Celebration was held during Homecoming, October 8-12, 2003. We invited over 18,000 alumni and friends to gather at Bowie State University. The theme for the celebration was "Bowie Always In My Heart." The highlight of the Grand Reunion was the lighting of the "Eternal Flame," which is the major touchstone for Bowie State University. The purpose of the celebration was to further establish the tradition of alumni gathering annually to re-live their campus experience, renew old acquaintances and make new friends.

See the Bowie State University Grand Reunion Animation.
