Dear alumni and friends, It is with tremendous excitement that the Bowie State University National Alumni Association, Inc. introduces the Bowie State University Athletics Hall of Fame. This process is being chaired by alumnus, Ricardo Mitchell, 77' in collaboration with BSU Athletic Director, Anton Goff. We appreciate their tireless effort. Consistent with our mission of "Honoring Our Legacy", the Bowie State University National Alumni Association, Inc. is thrilled to begin a process of recognizing athletes and coaches who have distinguished themselves and represented our beloved Bowie State University. BSUNAA, Inc. and the BSU Athletic Department need your support to help identify individuals most worthy of being inducted into our first class of BSU Hall of Fame inductees. We are planning a world class induction ceremony slated for the late fall. Attached you will find nomination instructions, criteria and a nomination application. The thing I like most about BSU is the connections and relationships that I have made. Being an out of state student can be a challenge, and my fellow Bulldogs have become a part of my family.
Gilbert E. Pryor Jr., a native of Washington, D.C., holds a master's degree from Bowie State University in organizational communication and a bachelor's degree in music education with a minor in trumpet from Howard University.
Brazal has been teaching in Prince George's County for 35 years, starting out at Bladensburg Elementary School.
