The Career Development Center provides career planning, job search assistance, and programs to assist students and alumni in making meaningful career, educational, and life choices. Whether you are just beginning to explore careers, are searching for internships and cooperative education positions, are applying to graduate school, or preparing for a job search, we are here to help.

Our office is located in Room 126 of the Wiseman Centre and our office hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. On Wednesdays we offer walk-in services from 9:00am until 4:00pm.

BEEP at Bowie
BEEP is the National Urban League's oldest signature program. Its mission is to expose black college students to role models in the business and government industries and to enhance the curricula at HBCUs by relating them more closely to the world of work. BEEP at Bowie usually consists of a day of classroom visits followed by seminars or workshops facilitated by BEEPers. This year's BEEP program will be held on March 5th and March 6, 2012. Faculty interested in hosting Beepers in their classes, should complete this form.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
has created a Mentoring Program  for Bowie State University students in the College of Business and the Department of Natural Sciences.  The program is part of a broader EPA and BSU partnership to expand career and professional development opportunities for students. The Mentoring Program provides BSU students with valuable career advice. It also affords an opportunity for students to network with EPA professionals and participate in a job shadowing day and other career development workshops sponsored by EPA.  For more infomation Click here.
