Schedule / Facilitate an Information Session

Information Tables are a convenient way for your company to share information and career opportunities with students in an informal setting. Participate in our Mock Interview Day Event
Thursday, November 8, 2012  9am-4pm 

This is a great opportunity for employers and alumni to volunteer to share their industry and career expertise with Bowie's students. Students get a chance to practice their interviewing skills and learn more about career industries of interest.

Mock Interviews also provides employers the opportunity to build their brand on-campus and gain additional exposure to Bowie's students. Employers and Alumni volunteer to conduct 30 minute long mock interviews (15 minutes for the interview; 15 minutes for feedback) which are conducted both in the Career Development Center.

Corporate Sponsorships provides your organization with a wider array of services to connect with students and alumni. Career Development Center Advisory Board
The CDCAB consists of employers, students, alumni, and faculty. Our goal is to establish a mutually beneficial exchange of information about various issues that impact our ability to provide services and resources. If you are interested in serving on the CDCAB, please call 301-860-3828.


Resume Referral Program
If you have immediate hiring needs, the Career Development Center can search our student and alumni resume database for resumes that match your criteria. To participate, send your request to careerdevelopment@bowiestate.edu. Include the following:

  • Your name and full contact information (phone, mailing address, email, etc)
  • Your organization's website address
  • An official position description
  • Any specific search criteria you'd like to call attention to, such as degree, citizenship requirements

You will receive resumes within 3-4 business days and students / alumni will be notified of the referral.
