Bowie State University graduate students are invited to use all services and resources provided by the Career Development Center. Career Counseling While most graduate students have a much clearer path and understanding of career fields and choices, this does not mean that they don't need career guidance. We can assistance with defining a specific career path, reviewing previous professional decisions and re-clarifting values and skills. Career Assessments We can assistance with defining a specific career path, reviewing previous professional decisions and re-clarifting values and skills. We offer the SIGI 3 Education and Career Planning assessment. An appointment is required to receive access to this online system.
Critiquing Services We can critique your resume, cover letter, curricula vitae, and other documents via email. To get your document critigued, click here. Please allow 72 hours (3 business days) from the time you submit your document for feedback.

Job Fairs The Career Development Center sponsors a fall and spring job fair annually for students and alumni to interact with recruiters from a variety of fields. We also belong to the Maryland Career Consortium which also offers an annual job fair event.
