- Use a tissue to cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze
- Drop your used tissue in a wastebasket
- You may be asked to wear a mask if you are coughing or sneezing
- Clean Your Hands
- Wash your hands with soap and warm water or clean with gels or alcohol-based hand cleaner
- Cleaning your hands often keeps you from spreading germs
- Practice Healthy Habits
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth as much as possible
- Avoid contact with people who are sick
- Get regular exercise, enough rest, and eat healthy, balanced meals
- Take your temperature to determine if fever is present
