IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING GRADUATIONYou will be allocated four (4) tickets for graduation due to the large volume of students eligible to graduate in December. On Monday, December 17th at twelve o'clock noon, you can go on line and print your E-ticket for your invited guest. Go to www.BowieCommencementTickets.com to print out your 4 Tickets. All of the instructions are there, and the system is easy to use. It is important to remember these tickets will be scanned at the doors, and once four tickets have been recorded, no further tickets will be valid. Do not duplicate copy or give your guest more than the four allotted tickets since they will not be allowed entrance to the ceremony.

In October 2008, Nikki E. Owens, a junior at Bowie State University, received a Milton Pericles Darden III Memorial Scholarship from the Scott Lee Foundation during its First Annual Nicole Lynette Scott Lee Memorial Scholarship Awards Reception. 
Dr. David Abrahams is an assistant professor in the Department of Management, Marketing and Public Administration. One of newest members of the Bowie State community, Dr. Abrahams' background is in the fields of program evaluation, information system and business analysis. 
Sudarat Tuntivivat describes herself as “a small town girl from Thailand” with a dream of studying other cultures. That dream led her to leave Thailand at 17 to study at Pennsylvania’s Edinboro University. As an undergraduate, Sudarat interned at the Royal Thai Embassy in Washington, an opportunity that inspired her to pursue an advanced degree at Bowie State University.
