My experience at Bowie State University has been great. Looking back to my freshman year when I first enrolled into the school, I have done nothing but grown.
Dr. Gail S. Medford, a native of New Orleans and a full professor of Theatre Arts, is an alumna of Xavier University of New Orleans, the University of South Carolina, and the University of Maryland at College Park, where she received her B.A in Communication Arts, M.A. in Acting and Ph.D. in Public Communications: Theatre, respectively.
Bowie State’s doctoral program in educational leadership enabled Dr. Donna Shimoda Hollingshead explore how data-driven decisions can improve school performance—but she admits she was initially attracted to the program’s convenience.
