Hometown: Baltimore, Md. High School: Milford Mill Academy Year in College: Senior Major: Communications/Public RelationsWhy did you choose Bowie State University? I really didn't choose Bowie State personally; it was my mother who suggested the school to me during the recruitment process in high school. She wanted me to get away from home but not too far. I visited a lot of universities while I was in high school, but it only took me one visit to Bowie State to realize that this school was the right fit for me. What activities are you involved with on campus? I am currently involved with the Bowie State football team and have been since 2006. I plan on getting more involved for my senior year with different activities. Future plans and goals? My future plans in life are to graduate from college with a 4-year degree in communications/public relations. I plan on moving to either North Carolina or California for better job opportunities in my field of study. Some of my goals would have to be, first and foremost, winning a CIAA championship in football this year while maintaining a 3.0 grade point average. Interesting facts about yourself? Some interesting facts about me would be that I am a very social person. I am easy to get along with others and do not mind making new friends. I enjoy partying sometimes on the weekends, but I have proven myself to still be a student/athlete at the same time. I enjoy hanging out with my teammates and friends back home whenever I have time. Experience at BSU? My experience at Bowie State University has been great. Looking back to my freshman year when I first enrolled into the school, I have done nothing but grown. College can either make you or break you my mother always told me, and Bowie State definitely made me into a better overall person, and has prepared me for life. What do you like most about Bowie State University? There are a lot of things that I like about Bowie State. I like that the professors/faculty are very helpful in lectures and guiding you on the right path to graduate. I like the campus environment because you cannot get distracted with outside issues. Internship/Jobs? I am currently doing an internship with Bowie State's University Relations and Marketing department. Awards?
