I chose Bowie State University because not only was it close to home, but it also has a growing and terrific communications department. The MIS program is a really great hands-on learning opportunity to further my education, and the interaction with the experienced staff is great! What activities are you involved with on campus? During my undergraduate year, I was a part of the Student Business Services (SBS) organization. Currently, I am not involved with any on campus activities due to my employment schedule. Future plans and goals? My future plans and goals are to secure a job within the IT sector and eventually become an entrepreneur in videography. Interesting facts about yourself? As a photojournalist, I am passionate about my work and I find great pleasure in what I do. As I travel meeting people from different walks of life, which stand for different causes, and are seeking different goals and accomplishments, I find them and their stories intriguing. Additionally, I play chess, baseball, and golf. Also, I enjoy being around family and friends. Experience at BSU? My experience at Bowie State University has been educationally enriching and worthwhile. I enjoy interacting with the diverse group of people at the university. Attending BSU has helped shape and prepare me for success after undergraduate and graduate school. What do you like most about Bowie State University? I like how the teachers are accessible for the students. Also, the campus and university's programs are expanding and getting better. Internship/Jobs?
