"Long Walk to Freedom" Film Screening

Students, along with university faculty and staff, are invited to attend a free advanced screening of "Long Walk to Freedom." The film is a chronicle of Nelson Mandela's  journey from early activism to the 27 years he spent as a political prisoner to the global outcry that led to his release and inauguration as the first democratically elected president of South Africa.

The film's lead actress, Naomie Harris (Winnie Mandela), director Justin Chadwick, and producer Anant Singh will be available for student questions after the screening.

4:30 p.m. - Doors open and red carpet arrival
5:30 p.m. - Film begins
