Green Vehicles: Parking Permit Discount

Drivers of green vehicles are eligible for a 20-percent discount on the cost of the BSU parking permit. Energy Efficient Qualifying Vehicle information can be obtained from the American Council for Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) website. Vehicles with a green score of 40 or higher by the ACEEE qualify for the discount.

Proof of the qualifying green vehicle being parked on campus must be presented to Department of Public Safety (DPS) in Robinson Hall or McKeldin Gym. The BSU Application for Motor Vehicle Parking Permit will be given a green dot; the amount that must be paid is written on the registration card and taken to the Student Accounts Office for payment. The receipt and card are then returned to DPS in Robinson Hall or McKeldin Gym, and the permit will be issued.
