Wayne Felder Named New Controller at Bowie State University

Wayne Felder has been appointed controller at Bowie State University. He has more than 25 years of accounting and management experience, including internal controls and process improvement. He has also provided leadership and oversight in accounting, payroll, grants/contracts and budgeting.

Felder was previously the assistant controller and financial systems manager at Bowie State University. He also served as an accounting manager at Baltimore City Community College and Towson State University.

He holds a master’s degree in administrative management from Bowie State and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pa. He is a certified public accountant, as well as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, where he served on the government and technology committees.
