Exciting career opportunities await you when you enroll in any of the three areas of accounting, banking and finance, or economics. The Accounting, Finance and Economics program is fully accredited by Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
Students who complete the programs in accounting, banking and finance and economics develop analytical and critical thinking skills that enable them to tackle business problems in a variety of public and private settings. You’ll also be equipped to continue your education at the graduate level and to pursue scholarly research in the field. The sequence of courses that we offer in the Accounting program enables you to meet the requirements for the CPA exam. The Economics program includes courses like Econometrics, Industrial Organization to prepare students for today’s global economy as well as socio-economic courses like Economics of Poverty and Economics of Education. The Banking and Finance Program has also recently revised its courses and offers a variety of banking and finance classes with a blend of accounting which prepares our finance majors for a career path in Wall Street as well as the government.
