All nursing majors receive academic advisement and assistance through the Department of Nursing only! New fall 2014 freshman and transfer students have all been assigned a department Faculty or Academic Advisor. All new students should visit the department to access our student advisement log to schedule appointments with their assigned adviser! Should you have any questions or concerns, feel free to visit our office located in the Center for Learning & Technology (CLT Suite 202).
All current nursing majors must email their faculty advisor to schedule an advisement appointment.
All undergraduate nursing program inquiries are required to be sent via email to the Nursing Academic Advisor, Mr. Kenneth Dovale at email@example.com
All graduate nursing program inquiries are required to be sent via email to the Graduate Nursing Advisor, Mr. Francis Bolden at firstname.lastname@example.org
Due to a high volume of program inquiries, we cannot accept walk-in appointments. All inquiries must first be sent via email and our advisors will respond within 48hrs to field all questions and concerns. Appointments will be scheduled thereafter.
Please know the BSU Department of Nursing does not provide unofficial evaluation of academic credits. All transfer credit evaluations of general education courses are officially conducted through the BSU Office of Admissions. Prospective students will need to contact the BSU Office of Admissions and speak with an Admissions Counselor to address the articulation of all transfer courses.
Each semester, Bowie State University (BSU) offers Open House and Transfer Informational Sessions for prospective students to visit the campus and meet with various representatives from our academic departments. These sessions are organized through the BSU Office of Admissions. Please select the link below to access the upcoming scheduled dates and register for attendance.
