The Office of Planning, Analysis, and Accountability is responsible for the coordination of all external university reporting. The key functional areas are Institutional Research and Planning and Assessment. In addition, within those functional areas are Accreditation (Institutional and Individual Program), Program Review, Faculty Evaluation, and Testing. All of the activities support continuous review of Bowie State University's institutional effectiveness. The office is located in the Henry Administration Building, Room 2400.
OPAA serves to contextualize data and inform institutional decision making. The office aims to achieve this by maintaining objectivity, appropriately assessing user needs, sustaining data integrity, analyzing and interpreting data, and transforming data into information that supports the pillars of BSU's Strategic Plan.
