Commencement Information

Congratulations to the Class of 2014! Bowie State University welcomes you to our December, 2014 Commencement website, where graduates, family members and the university community may find information about the ceremonies.

These events are not only a celebration of the graduating students' accomplishments at Bowie State University, but also an occasion to acknowledge our joint enthusiasm for their future endeavors. The university recognizes that commencement is a milestone in our graduates' lives and, as such, we strive to ensure that everyone enjoys their experience. The campus-wide ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, December 19, 2014. Transcripts with Degree Confer dates will begin going out the week of December 22, 2014.

To apply for December Graduation, students must log in to Bulldog Connection.

Student Clearance Process

There will not be a final clearance letter sent to your BSU email.  Instead you will check your status by going to GRADUATION STATUS in Bulldog connection.  Once you see that your status has changed to APPROVED, proceed to the Bookstore for regalia and Auxiliary Services for your tickets. Student must be ACADEMICALLY and FINANCIALLY cleared to participate in the ceremony.

*Bookstore will suspend regalia distribution during rehearsal.
