MBAThe purpose of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program is to prepare students for mid- and high-level managerial positions in private organizations and government agencies, by providing them with the skills and practical information essential for their professional development and career advancement. The Program offers students an array of nine core courses and the choice of a concentration study from among five areas: Accounting, Management, Finance, Marketing, and General Concentration, each of which requires the completion of an additional six courses beyond the core courses. The Program also provides the participants with an opportunity to interact with faculty members in relatively small group sessions, and in an environment characterized by diversity, knowledge, and experience. LEARNING GOALSEvery student will be able to: • Demonstrate effective oral communications skills; • Demonstrate effective written communications skills; • Understand the major marketing concepts and effectively present solutions to marketing management questions; • Understand the major strategic management concepts and effectively present solutions to strategic management questions; • Understand the major financial management concepts and effectively present solutions to financial management questions; • Understand the major accounting concepts and effectively present solutions to accounting questions; and • Identify, analyze and develop solutions for international business problems using appropriate finance, marketing, accounting and strategic management concepts. Entrance RequirementsStudents must submit evidence of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, and have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better. In addition, students must take the GMAT.
