Bowie State University welcomes students who live off-campus and commute to their classes and students pursuing degree programs part-time or while they work.
The Office of Commuter Affairs and Community Services provides support, social events, and award programs for commuting students.
To accommodate working students, the University offers all of its graduate and certificate courses in the evenings or on weekends.
The University also offers eight-week education courses in the evenings at three satellite locations: - University System of Maryland-Shady Grove
