Dr. Kehbuma Langmia teaches courses in mass communications, broadcast
journalism, and media studies at Bowie State University. With previous
degrees in fine arts, television, and film, Dr. Langmia was awarded his PhD
in mass communication and media studies by the Department of Mass

Communication and Media Studies at Howard University. He has published books
and articles on issues facing immigrants from Africa in the Diaspora and the
relationship between Africans and African Americans. He has presented in

national as well as international conferences on issues affecting minority
scholars. A graduate from the Television Academy in Munich, Germany, Dr.
Langmia continues to teach, produce and direct student's TV programs, films
and documentaries.
