 Professor Brown is no stranger to Bowie State University. It was over two decades ago that she received her undergraduate degree from what was then Bowie State College. The following year it became Bowie State University. She has a Bachelor's of Science degree in Communications Media with a concentration in Broadcast Technology. For over two decades she has worked in the television broadcasting industry at WUSA-9, the CBS affiliate in Washington, DC. During her tenure at 9 News she served as a stage manager, floor director, and assistant director and for the last 10 years, a television director. She looks forward to imparting into the lives of her students knowledge, expertise, experience, and discipline needed to obtain a career in broadcasting. Professor Brown is a licensed Evangelist with the Church of God In Christ and has a Master's Degree in Biblical Studies from North Carolina College of Theology in Wilmington, North Carolina.
