BSU Continues to "Go Green"

In an ongoing effort to maintain a "greener" campus, the Bowie State University C4 Committee recently sponsored a third annual Earth Day celebration with faculty, staff and students participating in various campus beautification and clean-up activities.

Additionally, BSU has been selected to receive a 2010 Kresge Fellowship Program Award that will provide capacity-building opportunities on green building and sustainability.

Earth Day also marked the end of the annual "Recyclemania" competition which takes place between the residence halls on campus as well as between various participating campuses. Congratulations to the following BSU winners: 1st Place: Haley Hall, 2nd Place: Towers Hall, and 3rd Place: Tubman Hall. Honorable mention goes to CMRC, Kennard, and Holmes Halls.
