Bowie State MARC Station Sector Plan Design Competition  



A great design competition is under way for BSU students and no, you do not have to be an fine arts major. The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) is sponsoring a competition for students to design the cover page of the Bowie State MARC Station Sector Plan. The deadline is March 6, 2009 and must be delivered to Ms. Tammi Thomas, Office of the President, Bowie State University. Top prize includes an Apple MacBook laptop. Fashion Design comes to the VCDMA  

After the enormous demand following the lecture and workshops of Carmen Webber (Sistahs of Harlem and Project Runway, 4th Season) the VCDMA is on its way to developing a concentration in fashion and textile design. The VCDMA is offering its first course in fashion design titled, ART 270 Fashion Network.
