Andreas Woods holds the Ph.D. in Egyptology from Brown University; a Master of Arts (Egyptology) from Brown University; and a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics) from Morehouse College. He has taught African history and African American history at Bowie State for four years. His research encompasses classical African civilizations, Ancient Egyptian Mathematics, African liberation movements, and Black male identity in America. He has presented aspects of research at several conferences and universities including ASCAC, Lincoln University and Grambling State University. He is currently working on an article titled "The Relationship Between ‘Blackness' and Education."
