The Second Annual Food Day Symposium, "Healthy Eating and Behavior in Prince George's County," will be held on October 24, 2012, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., on the campus of Bowie State University at the Wiseman Center, Rm. 102. Food Day is a nationwide celebration and a movement for healthy, affordable and sustainable food. The Symposium will focus on Prince George's County and promote a better understanding of the relationship between food, nutrition and health; review existing policies, programs and activities that promote food, nutrition and health; and advance thoughts of how Prince George's County can address food, nutrition and health for a diverse population in the future. We therefore invite you to join us in this all day celebration.
