Program Description:

This is an 18-month intensive program for highly successful transfer and 2^nd degree students. Candidates enter the program having completed all general education requirements and enroll into full-time study of nursing courses. See admission criteria and plan of study.  Candidates are admitted each summer as indicated on the progression plan!

Admission:

• Must be granted general university admissions through the BSU Office of Admissions
• Must have successfully completed all general education courses required for the baccalaureate nurse program
• Must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA
• Must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA in science and math courses
• Science courses completed within 5 years of admission date
• Must have evidence of success as a fulltime student (12 or more credits in one semester)
• Must submit the Accelerated BS Nursing application by posted deadline!
• Must submit sealed official transcripts with the Accelerated BS Nursing application!

There are a designated number of admissions established each year.

Please Note:
All admitted nursing students must have a criminal background check. (Conducted in Federal and State standards)
