Mrs. Connie Deas
Administrative Assistant 

 

       Ms. Connie Deas joined the Teaching, Learning & Professional Department in July, 2002 as the NCATE clerk typist.  In July, 2005 she became the Administrative Assistant for TLPD where she serves as the initial point of contact for the Office of the Chair of the department. 

        Ms. Deas is the liaison between faculty, adjunct professors, students and staff for the chairperson. Her other duties include:  assisting the chair with preparation for monthly meetings and other special department activities, ordering  textbooks  for faculty when needed, entering class schedules in PeopleSoft for faculty, and helping to maintain office equipment, such as copy equipment, facsimile machines, printers and telephone equipment.
