Currently, professor of education and coordinator of the Graduate Reading Program at Bowie State University, Dr. Lucille B. Strain has taught as several universities including The Ohio State University, Sacramento State University, the University of Miami at Coral Gables, Kent State University, American University, and Howard University. Dr. Lucille Strain is a published author of two (2) textbooks, including Accountability in Reading Instruction (Merrill) and numerous articles in professional journals. She appears frequently as a presenter at the national and international conferences of professional organizations.
