Dean Welcome to the Graduate School at Bowie State University and congratulations on taking the first step toward the attainment of that educational goal which will ultimately fulfill your professional aspirations. We have a long, proud history of providing quality graduate programs for working professionals as well as traditional and non-traditional graduate students; and we meet the needs of educators, business people, researchers, and scientists. The Graduate School can assist you with general graduate admission requirements, application for admission, admission for non-degree students, residency requirements, graduate assistantships, transfer credits, taking courses at other institutions, certificate program applications, registration, workshop credits, independent study policy, and auditing. Bowie State University has four academic colleges: Arts and Sciences, Business, Education, and Professional Studies. Within these four schools, we offer 19 master degree programs, nine specialty certificates and two doctoral programs.
