Welcome to the Division of Information Technology (DIT) at Bowie State University. DIT provides a wide variety of technical services to the Bowie State University community with enterprise applications support, enterprise support services, systems networking and web support, academic computing and online course support, and telecommunications.

The Division of Information Technology is committed to empowering our customers to dramatically improve their business performance by enabling interoperability between diverse technology systems and streamlining business processes. Business integration (e.g. online course development, technology in teaching and learning, reporting, imaging, and print solutions, etc.) is increasingly strategic to the success of competitive organizations. As a division reporting directly to the president of Bowie State University, Dr. Mickey L. Burnim, we are committed to attaining the highest level of quality and integrity in all relationships with our students, faculty, staff, and alumni. We will accomplish our mission with a proactive approach to identifying, sharing, and resolving problems promptly and courteously in an ongoing effort to provide service excellence.
