The arts are an integral part of education. Each semester, we plan opportunites for TRIO students to access some of the resources available to us in the Baltimore/Washington, DC, area. All activities are free of charge forTRIO students and include transportation. We travel to plays, museums, performances, and other events—these opportunities are listed on our Events & Extras page and SSS calendar each semester.

In addition, we hold events such as TRIO's Poetry Spot, a place for spoken word, song, and creative expression. We offer a twice-monthly writing group and have published several issues of a TRIO literary magazine. Many students have written articles for our TRIO Advantage newsletter as well.
