Summer School 2014

The Office of Continuing Education coordinates the summer school program for Bowie State University students as well as visiting students from other campuses. Summer courses include a cross section of all disciplines and offer an opportunity for students to catch up or to get ahead in your program of study. The courses are also open to students who do not want to pursue a degree program. Bowie State offers several delivery methods for courses including in-person, online and hybrid (a blend of in-person and online learning).

Three Summer Sessions Available

  • Session I June 2 - July 3 (5 weeks)
  • Session II July 7 - August 8 (5 weeks)
  • Session III June 2 - August 8 (10 weeks)

Registration begins April 14. Students may enroll in up to 7 credits per session.

How to Register

Current Bowie State University Students

  • Meet with academic or department advisor
  • Select courses on Bulldog Connection
  • Pay tuition and fees

Visiting or non-degree students

Billing and Payment Information

Limited financial aid is available for Summer Session students. You must apply for Summer Financial Aid.  Applications are due by May 16, 2014.  The application can be found at this link:
