The Regents Scholars Program is the most prestigious scholarship awarded in the University System of Maryland (USM). The scholarship awards cover the entire cost of in-state tuition, mandatory fees, on-campus room and board as well as providing a stipend to defray other academic expenses. Regents Scholars are selected on the basis of demonstrated academic ability, normally a 4.0 Grade Point Average with combined SAT scores of 2100 or better. Strong motivation, exceptional character and a record of extracurricular accomplishments are also factors in the selection process. Additional criteria may be required for certain scholarships.
The Executive Committee of the University of Maryland Alumni Association-International, Inc.(AA-I) announces that they will fund a $4,000 Scholarship for the 2015-16 school year to each University System of Maryland campus.
Each campus is responsible for advertising the scholarship, reviewing and selecting recipient(s) based on the criteria set forth by AA-I in the documents below. All requested documents must be mailed/e-mailed to Audra Whitelock (email@example.com) by May 1, 2015.
Please address all questions to Audra Whitelock at firstname.lastname@example.org.
