Eunique Jones Gibson (’07) debuted her “Because of Her I Can” Mother’s Day special on Centric TV on Saturday, May 10. The special featured rapper Common and Lisa Price founder of Carol's Daughter hair care product line, celebrating black mothers and their contributions to society.

BSU librarians Faith Steele and Barbara Cheadle, along with Dr. Joseph Spears, assistant professor of sport management, presented their study involving BSU students using mind-mapping strategies to find research topics at the Joint Maryland & Delaware Library Association Conference in Ocean City, Md. last week. The poster presentation was based on their study to determine if students would benefit from using electronic mind-mapping tools to search library databases for research topics.
