Employers can list entry-level, mid-level, and high-level positions for Bowie State students and/or alumni, using our online job posting system, Bulldogs4Hire. Listing full-time and part-time internships and jobs is easy and FREE of charge! Simply log on and create an account. You must have a website, which has a designated jobs and or internships webpage. Once your profile has been approved, you can post positions, search for resumes, and manage your own on-campus interview schedules.
Information Tables are a convenient way for your company to share information and career opportunities with students in an informal setting. Tables are usually set up in the Student Center, our highest student traffic area on campus. To request a date to visit campus, you must have an account in our Bulldogs4Hire database. When choosing a date, please note that it takes 5 business days to approve your request once we receive it and an additional 3 days to advertise your visit.
We invite your organization to join the many satisfied employers who interview and hire Bowie's well qualified students and alumni. To schedule an on-campus interview date, you must have an account in our Bulldogs4Hire database. Please allow 48 hours for a response to your request.

Have a specific position that needs to be filled immediately? The Career Development Center can search our student and alumni resume database for resumes that match your criteria. To participate, create an account in our Bulldogs4Hire database, post the job/internship in the database, then complete the Resume Referral Request Form. We will create a Resume Book containing all of the job seekers who match your criteria and notify you when the book is ready for you to download from Bulldogs4Hire.
This program provides students with the opportunity to experience the workplace up close and personal. Employers plan an interactive on-site program where students will be able to:
• Get an insider's view of your organization
• Meet key personnel and find out skills needed to be successful in the field
• Observe the day-to-day activities of your staff, discuss specific jobs and careers, and sometimes obtain limited hands-on experience
• Take a tour of your facility
• Each lunch and begin establishing their career network
We will provide transportation to and from your location, as well as attend the event with faculty and students.

Create more buzz about your organization by partnering with the Career Development Center. Sponsorships provide your organization with a wider array of services to connect with students and alumni. Examples include advertisements on printed materials, full-sponsorship of publications, endowment for interview rooms and student resources, banner advertisements, and company web links on our website.
Help Build our NEW Career Development Center. We have many opportunities for sponsorship possibilities as we build our NEW Student Center. We are looking for donors to sponsor one of four Employer Interview Rooms.

This is a great opportunity for employers and alumni to volunteer to share their industry and career expertise with Bowie's students. Students get a chance to practice their interviewing skills, become familiar with commonly asked questions and to receive feedback about their interviewing style.
The Practice Interview Program also provides employers the opportunity to build their brand on-campus and gain additional exposure to Bowie's students. Employers and Alumni volunteer to conduct 30 minute long interviews (15 minutes for the interview; 15 minutes for feedback) which are conducted in the Career Development Center.

The Job Shadow Program provides students the opportunity to explore occupations of interest to them. Students will be paired with a professional employed in their prospective occupation and will shadow them at their place of employment during the winter break (January) or spring break (March).
Students participating in this program will be able to:
• Interact with professionals and learn skills needed to be successful in that occupation
• Take a behind the scene look at daily work activities involved in that occupation
• Enhance their academic experience
• Network and build relationships with professionals
