WelcomeThe Office of Student Life is part of the dynamic student services team in Student Affairs. We primarily provide activities and programs that complement students' academic experience. Programs include, but are not limited to, lectures, speakers, panel discussions, cultural fairs and festivals, awareness days, and concerts. Additionally, we are responsible for the coordination and implementation of leadership programs, commuter affairs, community service, intramural and recreation sport programs, and new student orientation. Our office prides itself on being able to work directly with the students of Bowie State University. This office advises the Student Government Association, which is the voice for all undergraduate students, clubs, and organizations. It is our belief that students must be actively involved in campus life in order to get the full benefits of the college experience. Student involvement should be meaningful and should provide students, in a developmental way, the opportunity to grow, develop, and express themselves. In other words, we want to make sure that you have fun at Bowie State University. Want to know what's happening on the campus?
