YardFest is an outdoor concert that includes local performances and recording artists. The multi-cultural festival will have various stations on campus representing different nationalities as well as games and activities. WKYS will have a representative there. Grammy-nominated R&B recording artist Eric Roberson will headline YardFest.
Dr. Sunando Sengupta has always been passionate about teaching and trying to enhance the learning experience through the use of technological aides. His love for teaching brought him to Bowie State University where he has been teaching since fall 2005.
Sudarat Tuntivivat describes herself as “a small town girl from Thailand” with a dream of studying other cultures. That dream led her to leave Thailand at 17 to study at Pennsylvania’s Edinboro University. As an undergraduate, Sudarat interned at the Royal Thai Embassy in Washington, an opportunity that inspired her to pursue an advanced degree at Bowie State University.
My experience at BSU has been positive. I have had the opportunity to learn from great professors who are truly interested in seeing me excel.
