Description: BSU Theatre's New Play Reading Series brings regional playwrights to Bowie State for a reading of their work by students, alumni and faculty, along with a discussion with the audience. Play Ball tells the story of a suicide of a black youth targeted by anti-gay bullying. Admission is free.

Dr. David Abrahams is an assistant professor in the Department of Management, Marketing and Public Administration. One of newest members of the Bowie State community, Dr. Abrahams' background is in the fields of program evaluation, information system and business analysis.
S. Christa McAuliffe was a high school social studies teacher in Concord, NH, in 1985 when she became a national celebrity, having been chosen by NASA as the first National Teacher in Space.
