Celebrating The Holidays With the Student Alumni Association

Description: The Student Alumni Association would like to invite you to a holiday party, December 6. The group will be making cards for the sick and shut in, decorating santa hats and celebrating the December graduates.
Speaking little English, Ji-Wu Jia came to the United States with his wife and son in 1989 from Beijing, China, a society that is much more open to the world now than years ago. Home to the 2008 Olympics, Beijing is also where Jia received a bachelor’s degree in computer programming from Beijing College of Economics.
Dr. Kehbuma Langmia teaches research and other media-related courses in the Department of Communications for Bowie State University. A graduate from the Television and Film Academy in Munich, Germany, Langmia has extensive knowledge and training in media productions and management.
When Kristin Evans was a Bowie State University graduate student pursuing a master’s degree in organizational communications, she knew that she wanted a career in teaching communications at the college level. “I always knew that I wanted to get my PhD,” she says. “I decided to get my master’s degree first, because I wasn’t sure what area of communications I wanted to focus on.”
