Janks Morton's film, Hoodwinked, is an exploration of the most recent data released by the U.S. Census, U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. Department of Energy, U.S. Department of Commerce, and the Centers for Disease Control to highlight strides and achievements in the African-American community. Morton examines the relationship between media, government and special interest as they exploit imagery and data that too often present a skewed perspective of the modern era African-American experience.

The thing I like most about BSU is the connections and relationships that I have made. Being an out of state student can be a challenge, and my fellow Bulldogs have become a part of my family.
Computer science professor Daryl Stone received his undergraduate degree from Bowie State in 1992. He successfully defended his doctoral dissertation at George Washington University on Election Day, November 4, 2008.
