He is the author of more than a dozen books, book chapters, and peer-reviewed journal articles. He has presented papers nationally and internationally in the areas of communication, new media, conflict and mediations.
The thing I like most about BSU is the connections and relationships that I have made. Being an out of state student can be a challenge, and my fellow Bulldogs have become a part of my family.
Dr. O'Brien serves as coordinator of the organizational communications graduate program for Bowie State University's Department of Communications. Previously, she was an assistant professor and coordinator for the electronic media program in the School of Media and Public Affairs at The George Washington University (GWU). She taught at GWU for nine years.
