Description: The event is hosted by Poet Just Greg, an international poet, motivational speaker, and activist, who founded the Philadelphia Youth Poetry Movement in 2006. Participants are encouraged to bring hygiene items to donate to the Southeast Tennis & Learning Center.
The thing I like most about BSU is the connections and relationships that I have made. Being an out of state student can be a challenge, and my fellow Bulldogs have become a part of my family.
Marie Brown joined the Bowie State University Department of Communications faculty in fall 2009, teaching courses in the broadcast journalism concentration. For more than 20 years, she worked at WUSA-TV9, the CBS affiliate in Washington, D.C.
Kendra Simmons, who graduated with honors and a bachelor of science degree in computer technology from Bowie State University in 2004, has joined the prestigious consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton.
