Outlook Email

Prevent BSU Email From Going to Junk Folder

  1. If email is going to the Junk email folder open that folder. If you've moved the mail to another folder, open that folder.
  2. Right click on the message that was sent from Faculty and scroll down to Junk and select Never Block Sender’s Domain (@example.com).
  3. It is recommended that you use this option sparingly and avoid blocking sender domains that are known to be havens for spammers such as Hotmail, Yahoo, and Gmail.
  4. Once you have selected the option to Never Block Sender’s Domain for emails from bowiestate.edu that are sent to junk, then you will need to drag the messages from junk to your inbox.
