Black History Month: Voices of Baltimore Film Screening

February 21, 2018 1:00pm - 3:00pm

Description

The College of Education will host a viewing of "Voice of Baltimore: Life Under Segregation." This film captures the rich oral histories of seven prominent African Americans in the Mason/Dixon border area who attended segregated schools before the 1954 Supreme Court Brown v. Board of Education ruling.

The film asks the question, “Where have we been and where are we going?” A panel discussion with some of the film participants will follow.
