Faculty are invited to attend this informative workshop, hosted by the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) and facilitated by Dr. Devyn Gillette, Department of Natural Sciences.
All professors aim to create an inclusive and rewarding environment where they facilitate the highest level of learning for each student. One key to creating that environment is engagement, a task easier said than done. In this session, we will both discuss and utilize various real-time assessment tools that are essential in creating an active classroom. These include Kahoot, Poll Everywhere and other methods to assess students' learning.
