Learn how to effectively take minutes for important meetings at this workshop for BSU faculty, staff and students, hosted by the Office of Human Resources.

Session objectives:

  • Determine the purpose and importance of meeting minutes
  • Identify the minute takers role and tasks before, during, and after the meeting
  • Identify what to record
  • Practice taking minutes

Who should attend:

  • Faculty, staff, and student board members; committee members; meeting participants; minute-takers; administrative and staff assistants
  • Those who are interested in developing their meeting management skills
