The residential camp exposes middle-school students to fun and challenging science and technology activities to enhance their proficiency in the subjects and increase their ability to successfully complete college programs in these disciplines in the future. Now only will the students participate in classroom study, but they will also complete experiments, individual/team/group projects, and weekly field excursions. Guest speakers will motivate students to fulfill their dreams.
The program was founded by former NASA astronaut Dr. Bernard Harris Jr., the first African American to walk in space.
