Stephan Marcellus ('12) to Join Other Special Guest Artists to Ring in the Holidays at Bowie State

(BOWIE, Md.) – The Holiday Extravaganza at Bowie State University is an annual showcase of student and community performers to ring in the holiday season – this year, a special guest performer is Bowie State alumnus Stephan Marcellus (’12), who is just coming off NBC’s The Voice this season.

The free concert will take place on Friday, December 8 at 7:30 p.m. in the Fine and Performing Arts Center, Main Stage. Dynamic performances include holiday favorites by the BSU Gospel Choir, directed by Professor LaTonya Wrenn, and BSU Community Jazz Ensemble, directed by Drs. Clarence Knight and Gilbert Pryor. Two BSU students – Darius Cortez and Morgan Booth – will also be featured on the program, along with other special guest artists. The production director, Dr. Pryor, arranged all of the musical selections.

After the concert, join President Aminta H. Breaux at a dessert reception in the lobby immediately following the performance.
