(BOWIE, Md.) – Just in time for the holidays, nearly 30 vendors, representing Bowie State University’s students, faculty and staff, displayed their businesses and products for sale at BSU Entrepreneurship Academy’s first-ever Holiday Pop-up Shop yesterday.

The university community got a sampling of the goods and services provided by student businesses being supported by the Entrepreneurship Academy. Tables lining the walls of the Student Center’s Wiseman Ballroom were filled with an array of items, such as clothing, jewelry, specialty cosmetics and colognes, custom handbags, and pre-packaged foods.

Arthur Germain, a sophomore business administration major who recently connected with the academy, showcased products and services for his company, YG Wireless, which repairs mobile devices and sells cell phone accessories. He has big plans for his company’s future.

“I’d like to see it in an actual store. I like giving people quality for a lower price,” he said. “This is my passion. I just have the entrepreneurial spirit.”
