Chynna Johnson Could Be One of 10 HBCU Queens Featured in a Special Issue

(BOWIE, Md.) – Want to see Bowie State University featured in an upcoming issue of Ebony magazine? Vote for Miss Bowie State Chynna Johnson in the 2017-2018 HBCU Campus Queens online contest.

Miss Bowie State Chynna JohnsonJohnson is one of 63 students vying to be the top 10 campus queens who will be featured in an upcoming issue of Ebony magazine. The annual competition recognizes campus queens for being role models of beauty and ambition, while highlighting the importance of an HBCU education. The contest website features profiles of each of the students, including their extracurricular activities and career goals and a short video.

Bowie State supporters can vote for Johnson as many times as you want through January 31, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. (extended deadline). Use #EbonyCampusQueens2018 to spread the word to your networks and encourage people to vote for Miss Bowie State.

The last Miss Bowie State to be featured in Ebony magazine’s Campus Queens issue was Erica Johnson (‘14).
